Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) - General Surgery 3W This position is on a General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit. This is not an Operating Room (OR) role. Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule: Part-Time | 24 hours/week Shift: Days Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Qualifications Education: * High school diploma or GED equivalent Licensure: * Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program * Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements * Comparable education experience and successful licensure may be considered Experience: * New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome Certifications: * Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire) * LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements) Physical Requirements: * Frequent standing and walking throughout shift * Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance * Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
