As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to support a welcoming environment while responding to routine concerns. Pay Rate: $21.10 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and communicate policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity, and maintain professional communication with property management and public service agencies when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
