Associate Attorney

Segal McCambridge, a national litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation to join our Denver office . The Role This position supports an active multi-state litigation docket focused on general liability and commercial matters including, but not limited to, premises liability, first-party property claims, commercial casualty matters and trucking. Associates in this role manage their own case assignments and are trusted to handle matters from inception through resolution, with guidance and collaboration from experienced partners. In addition to supporting our Colorado practice, associates are often given the opportunity to support national practice groups. While the preference is for someone based in our Denver office (hybrid), we will also consider candidates located elsewhere in Colorado . What You’ll Do Manage a litigation caseload with increasing autonomy Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Take and defend depositions Participate in hearings, mediations, and case strategy Work directly with clients and collaborate with senior attorneys Develop strong trial-ready litigation skills in a supportive environment What We’re Looking For Active Colorado law license (required) ; additional licensure in surrounding states is a plus Solid legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Ownership mindset and pride in producing high-quality work Why Segal McCambridge?
