Senior Production Planner

To provide production planning, scheduling and inventory monitoring support to help meet machining and fabrication production requirements

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Schedule daily production requirements for the Production and Laser buildings to achieve customer demand
• Communicate daily with various departments and internal customers
• Address inquiries regarding lead time commitments and expected completion dates
• Work closely with procurement, engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of production targets
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure accuracy in records, and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand or supply chain disruptions
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning software to support operational planning and decision-making
• Perform daily consumption of materials in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for completed components
• Provide timely response to Customer Service to ensure custom seating orders are initiated accurately
• Provide management and support staff with input related to topics such as capacity planning, work load analysis and department business strategy
• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations

• Develop proficiency with ERP and Job Pack planning systems

Must have:

• Strong planning/scheduling skills
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Experience:

• 4 years of relevant experience in production planning or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience
• 5 years of experience scheduling a manufacturing environment
• Current or previous successful employment with Stealth Products (directly, independently or through a third party)

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
