Property Maintenance TechnicianWe are currently hiring for a property maintenance technician with a reputable local property management company.The maintenance technician will report to the maintenance team leader and will work with the property management and operations teams to ensure that the properties are kept up to applicable standards. Applicants must be customer-service driven and be able to handle the daily challenges associated with the property management industry and maintaining multiple residences.Responsibilities / Duties:Ensure that the physical aspects of multiple properties meet company standards and applicable lawsCompetently diagnose problems and make repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairDevelop an understanding of the property portfolio, inventory, and SOPsCommunicate with the property management team to ensure that property residents and owners are kept in the loop on applicable maintenance projectsComplete work-order reports thoroughlyHandle and document inventory appropriatelyUnderstand the general facets of property managementComplete work orders and handle inventoryInteract professionally with residents, office staff, and vendors as neededRequirements:Experience in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairDriver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use (paid mileage)Live within a 30 miles radius of downtown Madison, WIComfortable using computers and smart phones preferredSchedule: 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri.
