About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Employee and Labor Relations to spearhead the ELR strategy across the Americas region. This senior leadership position is pivotal in a highly unionized, manufacturing-intensive business, with a focus on executive leadership of labor relations strategy, first-chair collective bargaining, and oversight of multiple manufacturing sites with a significant union presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ELR team, ensuring HR compliance in diverse regulatory environments, and will be expected to have a strong executive presence to influence across various functions including plant leadership, HR, legal, and operations. The ideal candidate for this role at The Company will be a seasoned ELR leader with a background in large, complex, unionized manufacturing environments. Key requirements include proven first-chair negotiation experience in U.S. manufacturing, as well as a track record of supporting restructuring, workforce transitions, and M&A activities. The role demands a leader with a balanced, relationship-driven labor philosophy, and the ability to provide both strategic vision and operational depth. The Executive Director will be a visible, hands-on leader, and must be adept at influencing and driving the ELR agenda in a highly matrixed organizational structure.
