Mechanical Assembler| $17-$19/hr | BlueWorx Location: Oklahoma City, OK Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $17-$19/hr Schedule: Day Shift BlueWorx is seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. Position Overview The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for preparing parts and components for sub-assemblies and full valve assembly operations. This position supports the production process by cleaning, organizing, assembling, and verifying components while ensuring quality standards and production requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Clean parts and components using parts washers, solvents, and approved cleaning chemicals Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing assigned duties Prepare parts and components for the next stage of the assembly process Assemble basic sub-components and valve assemblies according to specifications Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Verify part quantities and quality against work orders and production requirements Identify, organize, and maintain accountability for parts and materials Complete required paperwork, logs, and production documentation accurately Support production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area Operate golf carts as needed to transport materials and complete assigned tasks Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and punctuality required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Skills & Abilities Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality Basic mechanical aptitude preferred Ability to safely operate a golf cart preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying materials Ability to safely handle parts, tools, and production materials Ability to wear required personal protective equipment Ability to work in a production environment with repetitive tasks Ability to lift and move materials as required by job duties Work Environment Manufacturing and assembly production environment Exposure to machinery, industrial equipment, and production materials Use of cleaning solvents and chemicals while following safety procedures Moderate noise levels typical of manufacturing facilities Team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity #J-18808-Ljbffr Blueworx
