About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Human Resources to take on a senior, strategic leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation, interpretation, and administration of personnel policies and practices, as well as the development and monitoring of recruiting, hiring, and training strategies. This role requires ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, administering employee benefits programs, and providing direction in the development of employee relations strategies. The AVP HR will also be tasked with managing the annual HR budget and promoting a culture that aligns with the company's mission and values. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a Master's degree in a related field, with a preference for a Doctorate, and at least 10 years' of experience in HR management, including a minimum of 5 years' in a high-level managerial or executive role. The ideal candidate will have a background in higher education, professional HR certification, and experience with an ERP system. The role demands a leader who can support the company's strategic goals, foster a high-performing workforce, and is adept at managing a talented HR division. The AVP HR will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, with a focus on talent strategy, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
