Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room

Position Highlights Provides direct patient care in a surgical environment, ensuring safety and sterility, and collaborating with the surgical team to achieve high-quality outcomes. Assists with departmental staffing, budgeting, resource management, and ensures compliance with organizational standards. Requires RN licensure, with preferred BSN and formal leadership experience; 2-5 years of nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred. Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Key Responsibilities Manage personnel activities including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development. Participate in staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet departmental goals. Ensure quality patient care through appropriate interventions and documentation. Oversee staff productivity, payroll, and staff communication. Promote high standards of care and compliance with policies. Qualifications & Skills RN licensure, with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced roles. 2-10 years of nursing and supervisory experience depending on the level.
