Our client, a boutique law firm in Atlanta, is seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys in complex business litigation. Ideal candidates will have prior experience, great technical skills, and a positive attitude. Duties include file management, file creation, calendar management, travel coordination, expense reports, e-filing in various State and Federal courts, trial preparation, etc.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a full benefits package. The legal assistant will be expected to work onsite from 9 am-5:30 pm. Some hybrid flexibility after training.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of recent litigation experience, preferably in a Georgia law firm practicing in both state and federal court
- Experience preparing for trial
- College degree is a plus
- Working knowledge of Odyssey, PeachCourt, and PACER
- MS-Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
- Team Player, strong work ethic, and positive upbeat attitude
