Job Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a team in Los Angeles, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-focused, and confident handling a high volume of accounting transactions. The role centers on maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting both payables and receivables activities using accounting software and strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and enter payment details accurately into the accounting system.
• Manage accounts payable activities by reviewing bills, tracking due dates, and helping ensure timely disbursements.
• Support accounts receivable functions by preparing customer invoices, recording incoming payments, and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Maintain organized financial records and update accounting data with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Use QuickBooks to post transactions, reconcile account details, and assist with routine financial reporting tasks.
• Perform high-volume data entry related to invoices, payments, and account updates while following established procedures.
• Investigate discrepancies in billing or payment records and coordinate with internal contacts to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with invoice processing workflows and provide administrative support for ongoing accounting operations.• Experience supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes in a detail-focused office environment.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and the ability to navigate accounting systems efficiently.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience processing invoices and maintaining complete, well-organized financial documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle routine accounting tasks independently.
• Solid numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.
