Prestonwood Country Club , a premier private club in Cary, NC, is seeking reliable, energetic, and hardworking individuals to join our Banquets Team as House Persons (Event Setup Staff) . We have Part-Time and Full-Time positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts . This is a great opportunity for students, retirees, or anyone looking for flexible work or a second job . Our Banquet Set Up Staff play an important behind-the-scenes role in creating beautiful and successful weddings, banquets, meetings, brunches, and special events for our members and guests. What You'll Do: Set up event rooms before functions and break down rooms after events. Clean, clear, and reset event spaces to prepare for the next function. Set and reset tables with linens, china, glassware, and silverware. Safely carry trays and bus tables during and after events. Stock and organize linens, china, silverware, and glassware. Ensure silverware and banquet equipment are clean, polished, and in good condition. Set up buffets, brunch stations, food displays, and side stations. Retrieve food and supplies from the kitchen and safely transport them to the appropriate event area. Break down buffets, displays, and side stations after events. Help keep banquet and event areas clean, organized, and ready for our members and guests. Work as part of a team to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently. What We're Looking For: Dependable, responsible, and hardworking. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull banquet equipment and supplies. Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout your shift. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
