Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches.

Scope to Work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Perform a full range of diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, peripheral arterial/venous, and visceral vascular studies, in a dedicated vascular lab with board certified reading vascular surgeons. May act as a mentor/preceptor for other Ultrasonographers and/or students.

This is a Vascular Ultrasound position; only RVT credentials are required. Qualifications

• Required associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal as gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year required
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year required Or
• CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year required Or
• CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cardiac 1 Year required Or
• CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) - Cardiac 1 Year required
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Within 1 year of hire required for Vascular Department
