Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) setting with a focus on neurosurgical patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, including telemetry and neurological status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state requirements)
• Minimum of two years of acute care ICU experience within the last three years
• BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery nursing experience
• Prior experience working with both ICU and IMC patient populations
