Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Silver Spring, MD
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a well-established outpatient physical therapy clinic in Silver Spring, MD. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to adult patients, helping them improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their functional goals.

New graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.

• Administer therapeutic exercises, treatment modalities, and rehabilitation interventions.

• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, movement techniques, and home exercise programs.

• Prepare, maintain, and clean treatment areas and therapy equipment.

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all clinical and regulatory standards.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.

• PTA certification required.

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative outpatient clinical setting.

• Previous outpatient experience is preferred but not required.

• New graduates are welcome to apply if certified.

• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule available.

• Full-time preferred.

• No regular weekends or on-call requirements.
