Security Platform Developer

Overview We are seeking a Security Platform Developer to advance our DevSecOps capabilities and enhance our security tooling. This role focuses on transforming raw logs into actionable metrics, building dashboards and custom apps using New Relic, and developing event-driven automation to protect systems in real time. The ideal candidate is a developer with a passion for security, data, and automation. Key Responsibilities Build and enhance security dashboards and custom applications using New Relic APIs. Convert raw logs into meaningful metrics and insights for security monitoring. Analyze data to support allow/block traffic decisions. Develop event-driven security automation to respond to threats in real time. Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to improve monitoring and defenses. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with New Relic dashboards, APIs, and/or custom apps. Strong programming skills in Python and Node.js. Frontend development experience with React.js and Next.js (preferred). Familiarity with security analysis, log pipelines, and event-driven development. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or OCI. Exposure to container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
