Senior Systems Engineering Lead

Salary: $106,691 - 128,488 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering or solution architecture
• Background working with analytical platforms, data fusion, or similar technical environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with federal security and compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP and DoD authorization environments, is preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required CBP/DHS suitability and security eligibility

• Provide systems engineering support for the design, integration, testing, and evaluation of OSINT and Strategic Collaboration Group pilot capabilities
• Assess technical options, solution approaches, architectures, and platforms for proposed pilot technologies
• Support integration planning with existing CBP/DHS systems under government direction
• Review technical dependencies and integration factors
• Develop technical deliverables such as interface specifications, data flow diagrams, architecture documentation, and system diagrams
• Assist with the creation and execution of test plans
• Conduct or support technical evaluations and performance assessments of pilot solutions
• Assess the scalability and interoperability of proposed technical solutions
• Identify and advise stakeholders on cybersecurity, integration, performance, and technical risks
• Work closely with Requirements Analysts, government technical staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions align with operational needs

We are Caduceus, supporting DHS/CBP USBP Headquarters Intelligence Division initiatives focused on OSINT and Strategic Collaboration Group efforts. This role supports the assessment, acquisition, implementation, integration, governance, and sustainment of intelligence and advanced technology capabilities. The position is based in the Washington, DC area, with work performed at CBP facilities and our contractor facility, and authorized telework may be available subject to approval, security requirements, required training, government-furnished equipment requirements, and coordination with the COR. We offer a salary range of $106,691.06 to $128,488.16 per year, along with 401(k) and health insurance, and the work is in person.
