Our client, a Cancer Center company, is looking for a Pharmacy Technician II for their Long Beach, CA location.

Requirements:

• This position requires a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP 797 and 800 standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines.
• At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician
• Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy
• High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy
