Supplier Business Manager II - Net/Sec

Overview The Supplier Business Manager II is responsible for developing and maintaining supplier relationships, increasing financial growth for assigned suppliers, and maximizing revenue, profit, market share, and sales support. This position serves as the face of ScanSource to supplier and reseller partners and is expected to be a professional role model. Key Responsibilities Drive business to achieve supplier revenue and GP$ goals. Act as an escalation point for the assigned supplier line(s). Serve as primary point of contact for onboarding, enablement of existing and net new partners. Create, execute and monitor assigned supplier line(s) business plans and work with channel marketing to create marketing programs. Liaise between ScanSource channel marketing and supplier line(s). Negotiate supplier contracts with input from supply chain team and management. Maintain a high profile for assigned supplier line(s) to further mutual business relationships. Facilitate and drive alignment of supplier team(s) with appropriate members of the ScanSource teams. Understand the competitive landscape of both the distributor and supplier. Serve as the primary escalation path for internal sales and supplier issues. Maximize profitability for assigned supplier line(s). Monitor pipeline, recruiting and performance to meet goals for assigned supplier line(s). Conduct quarterly business reviews with management and supplier partners. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure regular attendance. Reporting Relationships Direct supervision is provided by Manager, Supplier Business; Director, Supplier Services or VP, Supplier Services. No direct reports. Daily contact with supplier representatives, sales reps, and ScanSource management. Occasional presentations to both supplier and ScanSource senior management. Requirements Required High School or GED. Organizational, presentation, communication and negotiation skills. Self‑motivated with ability to prioritize and execute. Computer skills (MS Office). 2–5 years of industry experience. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience (marketing/business). Experience in product management and/or sales. Proficiency in a foreign language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German). Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods. Ability to be physically present at the designated company office during normal business hours. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $44,000 – $52,000. Total compensation range: $55,000 – $65,000, depending on experience, education and skills. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) with matching provision, and paid time off: 128 hours per year (or prorated for new hires).
