Corporate Transactional Paralegal

Job Title – Corporate Transactional Paralegal. Location – Westwood, CA. Full Time, Hybrid 4 days onsite. Salary Range; 110-115k, DOE. OT Exempt. Responsibilities of the Corporate Transactional Paralegal position Maintain organized and up-to-date legal files, templates, and document versions. Manage execution and distribution of legal documents through DocuSign or other platforms. Conduct initial legal research on state lending laws, corporate filings, or regulatory topics as requested. Review subpoena requests and support document production efforts. Assist with organization and coordination of loan documents. Assist with post-closing matters including recordation follow-up, trailing documents, and updating internal systems. Liaise with external parties and counsel to obtain required documentation and resolve issues Assist with entity maintenance, including formation documents, annual filings, and corporate resolutions. Support compliance tasks such as regulatory calendars, documentation requests by regulators, and notification obligations under company licenses. Track and help prepare information for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance checks. Coordinate updates to policies, procedures, and internal manuals as directed by the General Counsel. Partner with internal teams to gather information needed for legal or compliance workflows. Manage communication with external counsel, ensuring timely follow-up and organization of deliverables. Provide administrative legal support, including scheduling, preparing summaries, organizing files, and assisting with project tracking. Requirements of the Corporate Transactional Paralegal position 3+ years’ experience as a paralegal, supporting legal functions. Background in corporate or business legal practices including but not limited to contract, real estate, commercial lending, investment, financial services, or transactional law. Strong understanding of legal documents, due diligence processes, and document management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, DocuSign; familiarity with Salesforce or similar systems is a plus. Paralegal certification and notary qualification preferred but not required. Thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment. Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Updated resume is required for consideration.
