AP and Payroll Accountant

We are seeking an Ap and Payroll Accountant for our Finance Department.

The Business Manager will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Payroll and providing accounting support to the Accounting Manager and the CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, analyze, reconcile and report on Accounts Payable.
• Supervise and maintain payroll including deductions, benefit enrollments and eligibility.
• Produce and analyze applicable spreadsheets and payroll and benefits reports.
• Responsible for 401(k) reporting and filings.
• Assist with year-end close and audit functions as needed.
• Prepare and manage tax and wage related reports for federal, state and local levels, as well as 1099s, 1095s and W-2s.
• Produce payroll related reports as needed quarterly and annually.
• Manage operational components of NHV insurance including, liability, casualty and property, and Workers Compensation.
• Maintain and analyze patient days spreadsheet and provide related reports monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Maintain bank relationships, including online access, issue resolution and all vendor payments, whether via check or ACH.
• Assist in ensuring tenant benefits are renewed timely.

• Perform other activities as assigned by Accounting Manager or CFO.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with payroll or MIP a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

• AS or BS in a business field from accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of payroll and accounts payable with a minimum of 3 years professional level experience.
