Residential Caseworker (Full-Time)

Job Details for the Residential Caseworker in a Residential Mental Health Program located at Kennett Square, PA. The position supports consumer self‑sufficiency through individualized interventions within a therapeutic milieu. Schedule Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am Location Kennett Square, PA Pay Rate Starting at $18.00 an hour Job Functions Provide services as defined by program description, best practice standards, and in compliance with licensure standards and Recovery Model Principles Assist the program coordinator and provide education on medications, budgeting, self‑care, and supportive counseling to program residents Monitor effectiveness of own service delivery using outcome measures and adjust services to improve outcomes Provide services as dictated by client and program needs Develop and implement service plans as per the program description Develop and maintain linkages with adjunct providers to coordinate consumer services Identify resources that are accessible and beneficial to clients and encourage utilization Intervene appropriately in crisis situations Provide instruction and hands‑on support to promote skill development identified in service plans Support consumers in maintaining healthy relationships and resolving conflicts Demonstrate compassion, flexibility, and knowledge of supportive counseling Assist with skill building, including occasional hands‑on activities Maintain accurate records of billable services and submit them in a timely manner Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor Minimum Requirements Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree with 1 year experience in a human service‑related field or equivalent training/experience. Licensure/Certifications: None Required. Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Clearance, federal criminal history via fingerprint, valid Driver’s License, and verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare exclusion list. Note: Additional related experience and/or education may be substituted at the discretion of the Personnel Officer.
