Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience of 4

Description: The staff Nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This ensures that the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families are addressed. This function is performed in association with nursing peers, co-workers, attending physicians, and allied support services. This position is responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing the activities of ancillary staff. The staff Nurse is expected to respond to traumas, strokes, and medical emergencies. The unit treats patients across all age groups including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census averages around 25 visits, with a maximum capacity of 16 beds. Interdisciplinary support services are available including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Nursing staff must adhere to established protocols and care standards for various conditions and emergencies.
