Quick Facts: Location: Portland, Oregon Start Date: Flexible, immediate start available End Date/Duration: Permanent position Shift: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am) Hours/Week: Variable based on shift schedule Employment Type: Full-time License/Certifications: Willing to obtain Oregon OR license, Neonatal PA fellowship or residency completed, Valid APRN or PA license in applicable state Experience: Preferred neonatal intensive care experience, delivery room experience highly desirable Pay & Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and more (details to be provided during the interview) What You’ll Do: Manage high-risk neonatal and infant cases in a Level III NICU setting Perform deliveries, procedures, and diagnostic tests with autonomy Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, family-centered care Educate families and support staff regarding neonatal treatment plans Exercise clinical judgment in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests Provide bedside management for complex neonatal conditions What You Need: Willingness to obtain Oregon OR license (if not already licensed) Completion of a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program Valid APRN or PA license in applicable state Experience in neonatal ICU or delivery room procedures preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This opportunity is with a reputable hospital system in Portland, Oregon, supporting both Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Portland Medical Center. Both facilities feature Level III NICUs with high patient volumes, extensive delivery volume, and a collaborative, family-centered approach to neonatal care.
