Territory Manager - Route Delivery Driver Overview The Territory Manager reports to the Area Manager and serves as a route sales delivery person focusing on servicing and expanding our existing customer base. Key business segments include offices, professional services, fine dining, casual & family restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, resorts, healthcare facilities, and colleges. Key Responsibilities Master route operations including inventory practices, safe driving, and customer service. Achieve goals set by the manager for safety, inventory, schedule compliance, and promotions. Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally. Complete all other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one during hiring. Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures. Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Ability to work independently while being a team player with a strong work ethic. Professional appearance and demeanor with an outgoing, success‑driven personality. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and office equipment. Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and interpreting correspondence. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Flexibility to work some nights and weekends as needed. Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally for meetings or training. Ability to successfully complete the pre‑employment process. Preferred Qualifications 1‑2 years as a route delivery driver. Experience within the foodservice environment. Physical Requirements Ability to climb stairs or ramps at customer locations and in/out of trucks. Ability to sit and walk for extended periods. Ability to use hand tools and operate equipment controls. Ability to push or pull up to 250 lbs using a hand truck and lift up to 55 lbs. Ability to carry product up to 40 lbs.
