About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic integration of digital health, clinical informatics, and technology-enabled care delivery. The successful candidate will be a key executive in shaping the future of these areas, with a focus on how technology can best support clinicians, enhance patient-centered care, and drive measurable improvements in quality, safety, and outcomes. This highly visible position demands a leader who can influence the evolution of electronic medical records and digital platforms, lead system selection and optimization efforts, and streamline clinical workflows to reduce the documentation burden and improve clinician wellness. As the CMIO, the primary responsibilities will include serving as a strategic clinical leader at the intersection of medicine, technology, and operations, and partnering with executive leadership, clinical departments, and IT teams to align digital strategy with organizational priorities. The role also involves advancing the use of clinical data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to inform decision-making and support emerging models of care, while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. A significant aspect of the position is the commitment to advancing health equity, particularly in rural and underserved communities, by leveraging digital tools and data-driven population health strategies to reduce disparities and improve access to high-quality care. The ideal candidate will be a physician leader with a passion for meaningful change, capable of mentoring future leaders in informatics, and dedicated to the mission of improving healthcare delivery for all.
