Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

$1689.12/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patient conditions and respond promptly to changes during shifts.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, including Heparin, Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips, with precision.
  
  
• 
  Perform procedures such as chest tube management, wound vac care, and EKG recordings.
  
  
• 
  Document telemetry applications, rhythm strips, and patient data accurately in Meditech system.
  
  
• 
  Conduct bedside and hourly rounding, ensuring patient needs are addressed and communicated.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies on documentation, alarms, and patient safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent PCU or step-down experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate cardiology knowledge, including familiarity with cardiac drips and telemetry.
  
  
• 
  Able to perform complex procedures such as chest tube and wound vac management.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with floating to other units as required.
