Shipping and Receiving Operator

Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents Prepare shipping documents, including documents for out-of-country shipments Ensure required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file Complete entries into BAAN/SAP accurately and on time Create shipment plan documents Provide backup coverage for the Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned Operate a lift truck Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support role and/or shipping/receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center Ability to use computer systems, including MRP and MS Office Ability to read and interpret documents in the local language, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to perform mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to interpret Pareto charts, bar graphs, flow charts, and other quality tools Ability to operate a lift truck Must have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license Must be able to pass the company's driving requirements Must hold any specific driver's license required for certain company vehicles Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in coordinating shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proficient in using MRP systems and MS Office, with the ability to interpret various quality tools and perform mathematical functions.
