This role partners closely with business stakeholders and our System Integrator (SI) to design solutions, guide platform evolution, and ensure long-term success of the D365 landscape. This role requires a combination of deep functional expertise, architectural mindset, and operational ownership to help Econolite transition from implementation to enable long-term operational success.DutiesBusiness Engagement & Process Optimization As a trusted advisor to Finance, Operations and Service business, drive discovery workshops focused on process transformationDesign processes (requirements, functional specifications, user stories and process flows) for financial operations, project lifecycle & billing models, and field service operationsFunctional Architecture Configuration & Execution Act as a functional solution architect across D365 F&O, Project Operations, and Field ServicesLead gap-fit analysis and strategy, balancing D365 best practices and Econolite's operating model / roadmapTranslate business objectives into end-to-end designs and architectural decisionsSystem Integration Partnership As part of a joint delivery team with our System Integrator (SI), ensure alignment between technical implementation and business objectives through the project.Collaborate closely with SI throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure solutions align with business objectives, functional expectations, and operational needs.Ensure delivered solutions are validated through testing, feedback and business acceptance.Production Support, Stabilization, & Troubleshooting Provide advanced functional oversight for Tier-2/Tier-3 issuesMaintain a prioritized backlog of enhancements, bug fixes, and feature requests based on a business value prioritization.Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixesDrive platform stabilization initiatives, implementing preventative controlsRelease Management & DevOps Coordination Implement DevOps best practices that enable controlled, reliable releases of new functionality and updatesCoordinate changes with technical teams to plan, schedule, and execute releasesLeverage Azure DevOps or similar tools to automate solution deployments and accelerate release cyclesValidate deployments post-release, ensure that release notes and documentation (technical documentation, user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles) are complete and accurateQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field7+ years experience as a D365 Functional Consultant / BSA / Solution Architect4+ years hands-on experience with D365 F&O, Project Operations, and/or Field Service)Strong functional configuration and business process design expertiseProven experience in Financial, Project Accounting and/or Service OperationsProven experience with production support and structured root-cause analysisProficiency with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar toolsStrong collaboration experience with System IntegratorsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to handle unexpected issues and adapt to a changing IT environmentNice To HaveExperience stabilizing new D365 implementationsExperience defining enterprise architecture standards within D365Working knowledge of Dataverse, dual-write, and Power PlatformBackground in manufacturing, distribution, or field service operationsRelevant Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-310, MB-330, MB-240)Physical RequirementsPrimarily an office-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position.
