Compassionate Dental Assistant Wanted for Growing Southlake Practice Sunny Day Smiles Dental and Orthodontics invites a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our new Southlake practice. This part-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality dental care in a dynamic, patient-focused setting. We are a newly established dental office committed to delivering exceptional dental and orthodontic care in Southlake, TX. Dental assistant Assist dentists chairside during general, endodontic, and prosthodontic procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and maintain the clinical area adhering to aseptic and infection control protocols Take and develop dental X-rays following safety standards Use EMR systems (Curve or Dentrix preferred) for accurate patient documentation and record management Conduct preliminary patient assessments including vital signs and medical histories Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative instructions, and treatment plans Manage dental supplies inventory ensuring timely restocking and maintenance Support clinic operations with scheduling and occasional front desk duties Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, practices, and pediatric dentistry part-time $15 - $20 per hour - Shift & Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Weekends closed Infection Control License X-ray / Radiography Certification Prior experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards Skilled in chairside assisting including four-handed dentistry Ability to operate dental imaging equipment, including 3D scanners Experience with medical coding and documentation Familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures Organizational skills for inventory and clinic operations management 1] Please apply through the Jobley application form ↓ [5] While proceeding with the hiring process, please apply for the Jobley Bonus through your Jobley account. *The average time from application to job offer is about one week to one month. *Jobley Bonus $If you land this job through Jobley, you will be eligible for a jobley bonus.
