Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – FT and Per Diem (PRN)

Fort Myers Rehab & Nursing Center – Fort Myers, FL

Fort Myers Rehab & Nursing Center provides exceptional in-house sub-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team.

We are currently hiring for FT and Per Diem (PRN) positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license .

• Experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
