About the Job Podiatrist - Brooklyn, NY (#3364) Location: Brooklyn, New York Employment Type: Part-time (1 day a week) Salary: $60 - $85 per hour (Open for Partnership) Position Overview: We are seeking a Podiatrist to join their team of multilingual healthcare professionals in a multi-specialty medical group in Brooklyn, NY. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis and treatment of podiatric conditions, minor surgical procedures, and prescribing orthotics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, cultural competence, compassion, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.
- Provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot and ankle.
- Perform routine and minor surgical procedures as needed.
- Prescribe and fit orthotic devices.
- Educate patients on proper foot care, diabetic foot management, and preventive measures.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
