Technical Operations Engineering Co-Op

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Technical Operations Engineering Co-Op student for a one-year full-time placement in Puerto Rico. The role involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization projects, and operational excellence while gaining hands-on experience in engineering and project management under mentor guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement projects focused on efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction
• Assist with project execution using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Participate in testing, validation, and documentation of products, processes, equipment, and materials
• Analyze data and prepare reports communicating project progress and results to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement operational improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies in an accredited university
• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
