Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Night Shift RN in a Dynamic Maternity Unit!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Call and Float Required
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Special Procedures:
- LDRP with nursery responsibilities
- Baby Friendly Facility
- RN's cross-trained to labor and delivery, circulator role, acute care nursery, and OB triage
- Care for GYN surgery patients
- RN's perform their own hearing screenings


- Patient Ratios:
- 1:1 with labor patients
- 1:2 with cytotec inductions
- 1:1 with mag patients
- 1:3 with couplet (mother-baby) care
- 1:1 if a baby goes to the sick nursery

- Certificates Required:
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- NRP
- RN state licensed


- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years in a related nursing role
- Charting System Experience: 1 year of EPIC experience required


- Unit Details:
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults
- Daily Census: 5
- Number of Beds: 15

- Special Equipment: Panda Warmers and Giraffe incubators

- Additional Information:
- Travelers are encouraged to maintain flexibility by floating to other units or campuses as needed.
- Pre-Assignment testing and modules to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information.
