Registered Nurse - Labor and DeliveryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality clinical care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.Manage patient diagnoses including labor, preterm labor, and various obstetric conditions.Utilize necessary medical equipment and technology in the labor and delivery process.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products and pain management modalities.Attend to both high-risk and low-risk deliveries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and education.Participate in staff development activities, including book clubs and group dinners to foster teamwork and camaraderie.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Epic experience is required for this position.Current certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS certification preferred.Additional Information:This position will involve working 4x12-hour night shifts, with staffing ratios of 1:1 to 1:3. Eligible candidates may request up to 2 major holidays off, with the requirement to work only 1 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year's Eve). The unit includes 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, and responsibilities may include circulating, scrubbing, and caring for patients in both antepartum and postpartum settings.Join our dedicated team and enjoy a supportive environment that values professional growth and development!
