Job Opportunity – IMCU/Progressive Care Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Utica, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

Highlights:

• 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds providing progressive care for adult patients
• Diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Hands-on experience with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilators
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Float to other units as needed; navy blue scrubs required
• Travel assignment with potential for local candidates

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (all state licenses must be verified via NURSYS)
• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience with documented travel nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Specialty-specific skills checklist and references required
