The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis is to provide comfort, care and a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children. Our objective is to enable families to practice family-centered care by providing them with all of the basic comforts of home. Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis has a full-timeFinance Coordinator position open. This position is part of a mission-focused team of professionals providing compassion and hospitality to families with seriously ill children. This position is responsible for accounts payable, weekly bank deposits, and the guest lodging payment process as well as account reconciliation, and accounting software reporting. The person in thisposition is responsible for supporting the Finance Team, including the Vice President, Finance, the Director of Finance, and the Controller. This position is located at our Grove Ronald McDonald House. As part of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, the position collaborates with the team members to achieve position and organization goals in support of the organization’s mission and Core Values. Basic Qualifications Associates Degree in accounting/business preferred Strong word processing, spreadsheet, bookkeeping and MS Office skills Experience in accounting software preferred Strong interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects is essential Ability to adjust schedule to fit organization’s needs Position Competencies Composure Informing Learning On The Fly Learns quickly when facing new problems Problem Solving Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions Process Management Accuracy in work Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done Essential Functions Coordinates accounts payable and weekly bank deposits Manages guest lodging payment process Performs account reconciliations and other accounting software journalizing and reporting Manages the organization wide phone system via Microsoft Teams Coordinates workflow between staff members and outside vendors Regular and reliable attendance Physical Demands Must be able to concentrate and remain focused while handling multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects. Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and lifting of moderate to heavy weight material up to 10-15 lbs. Must be able to frequently climb stairs, including up to 3 flights, and frequently walk distances up to approximately 80 yards.
