Press Operator (2nd Shift) Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Press Operators to join our team at Cummings Printing in Hooksett, NH, for our 2nd Shift operations. As a Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality printed materials using Sheetfed presses and other printing equipment. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within our dynamic and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heat set web presses and other printing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on printing equipment as needed.
- Monitor and maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs.
- Follow job specifications and production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address any issues that may arise during production.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations in the pressroom.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area to maintain an efficient production environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and grow within the printing industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent print quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours.
Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, 3:30pm-11:30pm
