About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty. License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required. Description: Traveler will work in both IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and Thoracic unit. Day and evening shifts available. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. Telemetry oncology, cardiac and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience are essential. Vent and transplant experience is required. A telemetry test must be passed prior to starting. Registered Nurses will provide care in a fast-paced environment. Nurses will be caring for acutely ill surgical and trauma patients. Critical thinking and teamwork are necessary skills. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is a key component of this role. Nurses will provide comprehensive nursing care to adults with complex medical diagnoses. Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center or similar facility is essential. Candidates must have completed 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years. Floating may be required as needed. Travelers are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and patient care. Telemetry examination with strict passing criteria is mandatory before starting. Travelers must demonstrate proficiency in key skills related to patient care. The unit accommodates a variety of medical diagnoses and patient needs. This position demands a strong foundation in clinical practice for effective patient management.
