What You'll Do

Provide specialized patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) following physician orders and facility protocols.
Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Administer medications and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Document care activities accurately and efficiently.
Support a culture of safety, quality, and compassionate care.
Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

What You Need
Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
CPI certification from Crisis Prevention Institute
Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care experience
Effective communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or relevant clinical specialty certification

This assignment takes place at a leading healthcare facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
