Lead Business Systems Consultant Perimeter Research & Application Penetration Testing

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Systems Consultant to support the Perimeter Research & Application Penetration Testing (PRAPT) team. This role serves as the operational owner of the application penetration testing process, coordinating assessment intake, scheduling, readiness activities, stakeholder communications, remediation tracking, governance reporting, and overall delivery execution.The successful candidate will partner with application teams, penetration testers, Application Security Champions, and technology partners to ensure assessments are properly scoped, scheduled, executed, and remediated. This individual will act as a key liaison throughout the testing lifecycle, facilitating discussions around vulnerabilities, assessment findings, remediation efforts, and retesting activities.Additionally, this role functions as a ServiceNow Product Owner for PRAPT-related workflows and requires ownership of technology operational processes supporting the penetration testing program. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills are critical, as the role involves managing multiple concurrent assessments, resolving delivery issues, coordinating dependencies, and providing leadership reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate end-to-end application penetration testing activities, including intake, scheduling, readiness validation, testing support, remediation tracking, and retesting.Partner with application teams to gather required documentation, credentials, environment access, and assessment prerequisites.Serve as the primary liaison between testers, application teams, security stakeholders, and technology partners.Facilitate discussions around vulnerabilities, findings, remediation plans, and testing outcomes.Act as Product Owner for ServiceNow workflows supporting penetration testing operations.Manage assessment metrics, governance reporting, executive communications, and delivery status updates.Lead Agile work intake, prioritization, dependency management, and issue escalation activities.Drive operational excellence by improving processes, forecasting delivery capacity, and ensuring consistent execution across the program.Demonstrate proficiency in using AI‑assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and approved code‑centric agents)Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshootingApply strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI‑assisted outputs into solutionsUnderstand and account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerationsApply AI responsibly in development and production environmentsEnsure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standardsRequired Qualifications5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired QualificationsExperience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and delivery timelinesStrong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiencesExperience using workflow and project management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platformsAbility to analyze issues, manage risks, coordinate remediation efforts, and drive work to completionExposure to Application Security, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, or Cybersecurity programsUnderstanding of application security assessment lifecycles and vulnerability remediation processesExperience supporting governance, compliance, metrics reporting, or executive-level communicationsJob Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.Ability to work a hybrid work schedule – 3 days a week on-site/in office and 2 days a week remote.This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipLocations1525 W WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC401 Las Colinas Blvd. W, Irving, TX550 4th St., Minneapolis, MN2600 South Price Road, Chandler, AZPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
