Job Overview:

The Pharmacist-Clinical Generalist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred
• Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy
• Working knowledge of health care matters

Preferred:

• Hospital Pharmacy experience desirable

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Registration in New Jersey as a Pharmacist, New Jersey licensure required

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part Time
• Evening shift and including every third weekend

Essential Functions:

• They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures
• They exercise considerable independent decision-making
• Provide advanced clinical services to assigned specialty areas
