Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA CCC
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas (or eligibility)
• Prior school-based experience preferred, especially with adolescents and evaluations of younger children
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple cases and settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor progress, and document outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer guidance and support to teachers and families regarding communication strategies
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation compliant with school and state requirements
