PACKAGING OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Mebane NC 27302 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $19/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Thursday, 700am to 530pm

PACKAGING OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Production   Packaging Operator  will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards through inspection, labeling, packaging, documentation, and adherence to established procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or production experience who enjoy working in a team-oriented, quality-focused environment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PACKAGING OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products according to established procedures.
• Verify products meet quality standards and remove defective materials when identified.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, inventory records, and batch records.
• Assist with inventory counting and material tracking activities.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging workstations and processing equipment.
• Participate in workplace safety initiatives, audits, and daily safety discussions.
• Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) and contamination-control requirements.
• Handle materials and waste according to established safety procedures.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations required for production documentation.
• Support production goals while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

PACKAGING OPERATOR (PRODUCTION) | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 6 months of manufacturing, production, packaging, assembly, or related industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written procedures and documentation requirements.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with business software applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and documentation practices.
• Inventory management or product inspection experience.
