ADAPT Medical Professional Services (MPS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychotherapist (Dependent) to join our clinical team on a fee-for-service basis. This role is ideal for clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered mental health care while working under clinical supervision in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, you will:

• Provide individual and potentially family psychotherapy services
• Conduct clinical assessments and collaborate on treatment planning
• Deliver services in homes and community settings, as appropriate
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed
• Coordinate referrals to additional clinical services when appropriate
• Comply with all service delivery, billing, and documentation requirements
• Participate in clinical supervision, quality assurance activities, and program initiatives

Education & Licensure Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Child and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related clinical field
• Current New York State licensure (or Limited Permit) as one of the following: 
  
   
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
•  
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
•  
  • Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
•  
• Must meet NY State Office of the Professions licensure exemption criteria, where applicable
• Maintain active licensure in accordance with IPSIDD regulations
