Role Overview We are excited to invite a talented and empathetic Ultrasound / Sonography Tech to join our dynamic team of imaging experts dedicated to providing exceptional care. In this role, you will operate cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, engage with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and play a critical role in fostering patient comfort and peace of mind through timely, accurate imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with compassion
- Work alongside radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
- Ensure thorough documentation of procedures and maintain precise patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging methods and effective patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
