Leave Management Specialist

We are partnering with a higher education organization seeking a Leave Management Specialist. The Leave Management Specialist is responsible for administering and overseeing employee leave and accommodation programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational leave regulations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for leave-related matters and supports employees, managers, and internal stakeholders through the leave management process. Responsibilities: Process leave requests and required documentation within established timelines Meet deadlines for leave determinations, notices, follow-ups, and return-to-work actions Resolve leave-related inquiries within established SLA standards Take ownership of assigned cases from intake through closure Maintain accurate leave records, case documentation, and system updates Ensure eligibility determinations and leave calculations are completed correctly Maintain organized and complete case documentation Partner effectively with internal departments and external agencies Deliver exceptional service with empathy, professionalism, and sensitivity Maintain consistent communication with employees throughout the leave process Provide clear guidance and support during sensitive and complex situations Identify opportunities to improve leave administration processes and employee experience Recommend process enhancements and workflow efficiencies Support system enhancements, automation efforts, and standardization initiatives Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: 2+ yrs related experience Preferred Skills: Experience working in a complex organization Compensation: $30-33/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
