Responsibilities

• Provide RN care for Cardiac Cath Lab patients before, during, and after procedures, including pre/post-procedure assessments, monitoring, and recovery planning
• Prepare cath lab equipment, assist with invasive cardiac procedures, and maintain strict sterile technique and safety standards
• Monitor hemodynamics and telemetry, manage access sites, administer medications as ordered, and respond to changes in patient status
• Document care, orders, and procedures in the electronic health record (Cerner), ensuring accurate and timely charting
• Collaborate with cardiology, anesthesia, imaging, and nursing teams to support safe, efficient procedures and patient comfort
• Ensure patient safety and quality outcomes, including post-procedure recovery education and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab or a closely related specialty
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, four days per week, with 40 guaranteed hours
• Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment starting 06/29/2026
