Qualifications Graduation from an approved two-year respiratory therapist program Licensed by the District of Columbia Health Regulation Licensed as an RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist and certified by NBRC. Licensed as a CRT Certified Respiratory Therapist or RRT (to become registered within a year) Registered Respiratory Therapist and approved by NBRC BLS Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals required ACLS and PALS within six months of hire Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
