Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator, Video.

The Visual Production team in NYU Langone Healths Department of Communications, Marketing, Government and Community Affairs is looking for a Video Coordinator to help manage and coordinate video projects across CMGCA.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Media Producer within Enterprise Communications (EC) Center of Excellence (COE), this role supports the development and execution of institutional video production initiatives by independently planning production workflows, managing resources, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and optimizing production processes. Serves as a key operational partner to the Video Production team, exercising judgment in resource allocation, vendor management, production planning, and process improvement to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of video content.

Job Responsibilities:

Video Production and Editor Support

• Coordinate day-to-day workflow for video projects, helping track timelines, deliverables, approvals, and across production and post-production

• Partner with producers, editors, and communications teams to support the execution of visual storytelling aligned with strategic objectives

• Help maintain consistency in project workflows, templates, and documentation to support efficient and scalable video production

• Help to streamline post-production workflows and establish scalable editing practices to improve efficiency, turnaround times, and overall output

Operational Support

• Maintain project trackers, calendars, status updates, and production documentation to support team visibility and execution

• Assist with coordination of production inventory, studio resources, and related operational processes

• Support vendor coordination and other administrative needs related to video production, as applicable

• Provide general coordination support to the video production and editing team as needed

• Proactively identify small process improvements to increase team efficiency

• Independently identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, scalability, and quality.

• Manage relationships with external vendors and freelance resources, including onboarding and/or terminating, performance evaluation, budget monitoring, and engagement decisions.

• Analyze production challenges and determine appropriate solutions to ensure project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are achieved.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative briefs and production approaches aligned with organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or related field
• Experience in operations, coordination, video production, marketing, or related support roles
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in operations, coordination, video production, marketing, or related support roles
• Familiarity with video production and video editing

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $61,288.35 - $105,722.27 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
